I always invest in a good multivitamin in the thick of changing seasons, because my warm African blood is sensitive to the British weather; my immune system and energy levels always take a hit! No nasties here - FEEL’s multivitamin gummies come in recyclable paper packaging and are free from sugar, gelatin, xylitol and synthetic colouring, to name a few. So you can feel confident know what you’re chewing on is only the pure essentials - Vitamin A, C, D, B6, Biotin and Folic Acid and more. These gummies are delicious too; they taste like wine gums but even better, because they are actually good for you. I love that I can look forward to taking my vitamins every day now!

THE LOWDOWN ON FEEL COMPLETE MEAL

I’ve never been much into dieting, so from the offset I must admit that I had my reservations trying the FEEL Vanilla Complete Meal. But what I am into is optimising your time and your health. I’m busy. I have a baby, I’m juggling childcare management, a new job and keeping a small business afloat. I kept finding myself smashing cheese on toast for lunch and a biscuit. Because I didn’t have time to go grocery shopping this week, and I don’t have time to create a full blown meal every day. But I started adding a scoop of vanilla meal replacement powder to a simple banana smoothie for lunch and I was amazed at the difference it made.

My energy soared for the rest of the afternoon. I did’t get hungry for hours after this and my concentration levels were at an all time high. So I’ve cast my doubts aside and now confidently call myself a fan, because it’s so convenient to whip together and I’m getting all the goodness I need (actually probably more than I normally would get!).

SOME FINAL THOUGHTS ON OPTIMISING YOUR WELLBEING FOR MOTHERHOOD

8 months postpartum and I am struggling, as so many of us do, to find my feet in my new body. Discovering who you are after you’ve had a baby is an emotional and deeply personal journey.
