BAM Bamboo Clothing Review
Ahead of their most recent launch, one of my favourite UK activewear brands, BAM, reached out and asked me to review a few pieces for the 2021 Spring collection. I was all, “heck yeah!” And so here we are.
REASONS TO LOVE BAM’S BAMBOO CLOTHING
I’ve loved BAM for a long time, not only do they produce top quality activewear and outdoor apparel, but their entire business is founded in sustainability and giving back to the planet. This is the polar opposite of fast fashion (hallelujah!) - their pieces are designed to last, are created using sustainable sources and the company is en route to becoming 100% Impact Positive by 2030! In fact, each item you purchase lists its impact on the planet so you’re totally in the know. Tick, tick, tick.
SHOP BAM
ENGAGE CROPPED BAMBOO TOP IN EVERGREEN: £19
Firstly I love the colour and cut of this - the crop style is very flattering and anything green makes my heart sing! I ordered a medium, which ran a little big so if you like a tighter fit I’d suggest ordering a size under.
NATTADAN BAMBOO SWEAT IN CHALK BLUE: £55
Wait, can you tell I shop by colour? This colour is epic and this is now one of the cosiest sweatshirts I own. I have a growing baby bump so I got a size up. That means it runs a little large on me now but I wanted the extra space to grow. It also has pockets (yay) and the fabric is light but still cosy.
HIGH-WAIST 7/8 ENDURO BAMBOO LEGGINGS IN KELP PRINT: £55
Oh my, these leggings! The fabric is unreal; it’s somehow thicker than you’ll find on other leggings so they hold everything where it should be without cutting in and yet it’s still airy and has a lot of movement. BAM’s prints are always so fun, and I especially love this Kelp Print! Another big bonus for me was the high-rise waist, which fits snuggly over my second trimester baby bump.
